spray paint on concrete wall
8 ft x 6 ft

created to beautify the alley behind Sans Labels Gallery on Melrose in los angeles, this painting depicts a crimson rose butterfly landing on the razor edge of razor wire. the crimson rose displays bright red on its wings and body. in the mural, this red represents love and solidarity, which we should all exude ourselves. in nature, this red wards off predators from eating the butterfly. so by promoting love confidently, we too will be able to end predation on those that want to love. the razor wire represents the hostile environment of our world, something that must be dealt with but love can overcome.
